    So Who Gets Cut Tomorrow?

    Fourteen players will take a visit to Mike Tomlin's office tomorrow and find out they don't have what it takes to make it with the B & G. The first round of cuts are not as important as the second but who do you guys see being cut? Do you think any of the early cuts will surprise any of us?? Some are fairly obvious and some are not. Here is an early list to get ya started.

    Kelvin Beachum - OL
    Mike Blanc - DT
    Paul Cox - WR
    Andre Freeman - CB
    Brandon Hicks - LB
    Ikponmwusa Igbinosun - DE
    Kyle Jolly - OT
    Marshall McFadden - LB
    Walter McFadden - CB
    Justin Peelle - TE
    Juamorris Stewart - WR
    Jake Stoller - DE
    Kade Weston - DT
    Jimmy Young - WR

    DeCastro moved to Injured Reserve to meet the 75 player requirement. UGH.....really??

      Yeah like another week. Hopefully this doesnt mean Essux will get a roster spot. Dam, who is the alternative to those two??

        DeCastro season is over??? Is it official??? I thought they are waiting for MRI. This is a sad news if true.

        First player i will cut is Marcus Gilbert. That lazy turd is on Ravens payroll. First he took out DJ and now DeCastro. Next player could be Ben or Ramon Foster.

          Well I would think at this point without any outside players being picked up through the waiver process that the Steelers will only keep 8 OL out of the gate. There is enough position flexibility with the backups to make that possible. You have the starters:

          LT - Max Starks
          LG - Willie Colon
          C - Maurkice Pouncey
          RG - Ramon Foster
          RT - Marcus Gilbert

          and the backups:

          Mike Adams - T
          Trai Essex - T, G, C
          Doug Legursky - G, C

          I think the DeCastro injury gave Essex another year in the Burgh unfortunately.

            I think they might carry 9 OL. I also think Ryan Lee could be in the mix.

            OL looks okay as long as Willie Colon stays healthy. If there is any injury to O-line i think Steelers Offense will struggle.

                Ryan Lee is listed as a C/G on the roster. I think he played G in college. He has looked very good against the other teams' future 7/11 clerks.

                  Just my opinion but I think Ryan Lee is a keeper, got to find a way to hang on to that kid.

                    Starxx, Colon, Pouncey, Foster, Gilbert, Legs, Adams, and Lee? Pretty thin depth wise but i cant bear the idea of Essux another year.
