Leftwich definitely has more upside than Batch.
IMHO, there is no way Batch could QB this team for any extended amount of time if something happen to Ben.
Hopefully JJ has a great game vs. Carolina Thursday night and makes this team.
Hire Batch as an assistant QB coach or something along those lines.
I believe he can still be an asset to the team in that sort of capacity.
