    Simmons left holding the bag

What! Did I read right? Kendall Simmons was the only OL not to give up a sack?
At least by one observers count... (JJ Cooper at NFL Fanhouse)

    SACKS ALLOWED

    Justin Hartwig 3
    Willie Colon 2
    Marvel Smith 1.5
    Chris Kemoeatu 1
    Heath Miller 1
    Mewelde Moore .5

      Thought we corrected that problem?!

All I know is that we MUST retool this OL this offseason. We need draft picks AND FA next year.

These stats are flawed. There were at least two times when Simmons and Hartwig parted and allowed a blitzer up the middle. On both occassions, at least one of the two ended up blocking do one.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

That's just preposterous. You just arbitrarily give every sack that game up the middle to the center. I’m by no means giving Hartwig a pass but what’s he supposed to do – block three men? Simmons was equally as putrid as every lineman out there.

And the Post Gazette gave Colon 2.5 so there’s a discrepancy right there.

How many sacks against did Arians have? I would think if there are 5 linemen, 7 blitzers and nobodt else in to block then the sack has to go on the coach who ignored the need to protect against the rush.

Seriously....the OL did not play well, but when they are each engaged and Ben still has two men bearing down on him how can you hand the blame to them?
