Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I took Konz. The interior of our OL will get Ben killed and render our running game ineffective unless we improve it. Konz is the type of guy with positional flexibility who is better than either Guard we have and is a great insurance policy if Pouncey's leg injuries continue to occur.
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"

I'm with you Ruthless. If I have to pick at #24 and these are the players left, I'm sticking to my board and taking BPA. Happens to be a position of need...Just not the highest position of need. I re-arranged them to how I have them on my board. On a side note, I like David Wilson better than Doug Martin.

Looks like Hightower is the man so far. Imagine that, Steelers fans like the Linebacker!

Me too. If we don't have a shot at DeCastro or Glenn then I think Barron is the guy who could make the most impact.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

              but Go Steelers!!!

And they will continue to complain about "inconsistent" offense when we get no help for the offense. The "Fire Haley" and "Haley Sucks" threads should begin soon after the first game where we fail in short yardage with our terrible Guards and Ben gets sacked three times.

yes, I'd take Barron in a second!. He'd be a little out of position at FS, but I think he and troy would be great together. Our interception numbers should go up as well.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

I've watched Barron play and I'm certain he can play FS. He looks to be good and coverage, aggresive in the run support, and the ability to close and make the interception.

I would prefer Glenn or DeCastro because of our interioir line situation but if both are gone, Barron would be a good pick.

Peter Konz. Draft him, plug him in at Guard and enjoy an improved OL.

Even though the position he is best suited for is currently occupied by one of the best the game has ever seen? Mark Barron is not a free safety. He is an NFL strong safety. And the Steelers do not need to be using a first round pick on one of those.

I disagree. I've seen some very good coverage skills from Barron.
