rumor for 2012 season: Steelers open at Baltimore again
Seriously doubt the league would have the Steelers play their first three on the road. I don't think that has ever been done. Guess we'll see later this month.
there was a 2012 schedule that leaked that for the Steelers have no Monday night games, 2 Sunday Night games and a Thursday night game. Whats even more strange is they gave the Cleveland Frickin Browns a Monday night Game.

Many of you have submitted via email over the past day or so various links to a supposedly leaked 2012 regular-season schedule.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello says it’s “bogus.”
Though the league necessarily can’t keep a lid on information that goes out to the 32 teams, the league office guards zealously the regular-season schedule. Since the teams don’t get it, the teams can’t leak it.
The regular-season schedule will be released before the draft. There’s rarely much advance notice before the thing comes out.
That’s what she said?
Since 2001 the Steelers and Baltimore have alternated the games H -A each year except once in 2007 and 2008 the Steelers played the 1st game at H. So if we do open with Bal more than likely it will be in Pittsburgh.
Not that it really matters, you still have to play all the games somewhere anyhow.
The Steelers have only won 2 of the last 6 games against the Giants since 1985. Both wins were in NY. Maybe we're better off playing them there this year. They did beat the Steelers here in 2008.
Ben beat the Cowboys in Dallas his 1st year in 2004 and then beat them here in 2008. The Cowboys had won the previous 4 games dating back to 1991.
The story in 2008 was the difficulty of the schedule. Anytime you play the NFC East the schedule is tough. But the Steelers like challenges.
I want to open in Baltimore. The pressure is all on them. 3 straight to open the year on the road? That's fine too.
We need to keep using Goodell's hatred for us as a tool for success.
Agree but for different reasons- want to open against the Ravens because they are the biggest challenge. A hard, tough, physical game first up puts the team in the right frame of mind from that point on. They have to aim up ealy & show what they are made of this season- no better opponant to show this than your #1 enemy.
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?
