Ramon Foster Signs His Tender

Per multiple reports on twitter.

Apparently, he found no takers in RFA.

Not me ... I like Legursky much more than Foster. Legursky I think is going to be a pretty good left guard for us. Not great but pretty good if he ever gets a chance to play more than 2 or 3 games in a row at that position.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

but Go Steelers!!!

I like Ramon. He always does that little extra to keep plays alive and help his OLs and his QB.

Watch him on Ben's scramble against the Bills in 2010 and Cotchery's TD in Denver this season. Always goes all out and plays whistle to whistle.

If Lekursky is going to play I would rather he play center, where he can call blocking assignments, and have Pouncey and his quick feet at guard.

legursky stinks.

I don't get the manlove around here for him.

As a guard he blows. I think he'd be solid at center.

Ditto, however neither one should be an NFL starter.

the right side was hardly the problem last year.

gilbert and foster worked very well together.

some people just have their bias.

That's a great idea, never thought of that. Supposedly the draft has alot of talent at guard this year. How about moving up in second to take Kevin Zeitler put him at RG Legursky at center and Pouncey at LG pulling... oh baby!!!

I agree with Mr. Spaghetti. Foster and Gilbert had several very good games (especially run blocking).
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

I'm all for this and have been wishing we'd go this way. I think we'd be solid with the 5 guys we've got if we put Bronko @ C. But no one seems to want to move Pouncey over to G for some reason.

I think we'd be solid with Gilbert, Pouncey, Legs, Foster, and Colon. And the first lineman I'd draft would be someone who could play RT or LT.

Neither Foster or the gursky should be starting on this OL barring injury.

As for Zeitler, IMO he would start day 1.

I find it sad that we are having to fight between Legurgitation and Foster. Both are fine BACKUPS! Nothing more. Great finds by the Steelers scouts as BACKUPS!
Can we please find someone to start ahead of them.
