    compensatory picks??

Anyone know when we can expect the NFL to announce the compensatory picks for 2012? I believe its usually in March correct?

I know we lost Matt Spaeth. Anyone else that will help us qualify for comp pick? We picked up Cotchery so it may be a wash.

    Re: compensatory picks??

    • The Steelers are not sure what, if any, compensatory draft picks they will receive, Colbert said. It is unlikely to be much. They did not sign anyone's unrestricted free agent -- the New York Jets cut wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery, so he does not count -- and they did not lose much, either. The two they lost were backup tight end Matt Spaeth and backup defensive end Nick Eason.

Last year it was March 25th.

This site projects two 7th round comp picks (one for Matt Spaeth and one for Nick Eason):

That's why I've included three 7th round picks in my sig mock.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I've seen that same projection as well. .

Cotchery was released by the Jets so he doesn't count against the Steelers in the projections.
