Rooney is if nothing else, a cordial man in this type of situation. I imagine he'd give Ben the straight poop. Not hammer on Arians, cause that's not Rooney's style. Just probably say he needs to worry about protecting his $100M QB (whose injuries cost us a chance in the playoffs). They need a different Offense than Arians is running and mild upgrade to his OL.

Ben always protects his boys, including the ineffective Arians and his less than talented OL. Its a good trait and one Rooney will not squash. That OL loves Ben despite what some say. He fights for them and they fight for him as best they can.
