Could the "new" trend of bring back former steelers contine?

Could he come back if the money was right? If Saunders is gone for 4 games do we need him? Spaeth or DJ? Which do you guys prefer?

Bears | May consider releasing Matt Spaeth
    Thu, 09 Feb 2012 12:28:30 -0800

The Chicago Bears may consider releasing TE Matt Spaeth this offseason because he is scheduled to make $1.775 million next season and is considered a one-dimensional player. Spaeth only caught seven passes for 50 yards in 15 games this season.

Please don't bring back Spaeth. there is a reason that the Bears are considering cutting him.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

Plax is a FA. There's your redzone threat.

Brucie will implore the Colts to bring in Spaeth as Dallas Clark's backup.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I heard on local (for me, Se PA) sportstalk radio that Plax was a FA and wanted to play for the Eagles. I was wondering if the Steelers could get him to be a red zone threat.

What might his price be and do you think we have a shot at landing him?

It doesn't MATTER...because all he does is "have mass and take up Spaeth".

Why not use Heath as our redzone threat ?
ours is not to wonder why just invert and multiply...

Haven't the Bears learned their lesson yet with signing x-steelers ?
From Tim Worley, Meril Hodge, Kordell Stewart and now Spaeth. Maybe there were other Steelers too for them that, I can't remember. What I do remember, the Bears never did well with any of our castoffs.
