    Seriously.
I'm sure the guy is good at what he does, but I'm sure any smart guy can handle these duties.
Yes he is good. But is he really THAT GOOD! I mean look at the Ravens. They are about 10-15 mil under the cap, and won the north this season. And they are not going anywhere for a while. The Steelers are 25 mil over, and need to make serious cuts/decisions...
They haven't signed a lot of their big names. I.e. Rice, Grubbs, Flacco. They won't have 25 mil in cap space once they are done signing their own players. They have quite a few of their own UFA's as well.

Who do we have that is not under contract that we want to start?
    Here comes the BOOM!

Steelers executive Omar Khan took himself out of the running for the general manager's job with the St. Lojuis Rams.

The Rams received permission from Steelers president Art Rooney II to speak with Khan last week, but an interview never took place as Khan decided to remain in Pittsburgh.

After meeting with Art Rooney II Friday, Omar Khan decided against pursuing Rams GM job.

Re: Omar Khan to interview with Rams

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
