That is great news!!! I would hate to see all that knowledge of the DL 3-4 leaving the organization.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I'll bet Tomlin and Art reassured Butler that this was going to be LeBeau's last season as DC.

Butler knows that he has it good here...

He has a good relationship with his head coach, great ownership and is working with one of the great defensive coordinators in the history of the NFL...

And most likely, as was pointed out, he was probably given significant financial incentive to stay...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Exactly what I was thinking. Or maybe this year yet... Never know.

I thought the old DC was costing this team coaching talent by refusing to retire. Instead, it looks like he is part of a group that somebody like Butler enjoys working with so much that he decided to forego a potentially greater opportunity elsewhere.
