Is anyone afraid of Denver's defense?

I thought I was until I looked into their defensive stats
24.4 pts. allowed per game -ranked 24th
357.8 yds. allowed per game -ranked 20th
32.04 Time of Possession -ranked 28th
If this isn't a defense that we get our offense going against I don't know what is.

If Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil don't get Ben killed, they can be had.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Establish and stick with the run early and Ben should be fine.

I would look at the stats once Tebow took over... once they went ball control, run option the D improved IMO.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

We only scored 14 the first game. There defense is not that bad.
                  Ranked 5th in points 19.2, 10th in yds 332.4, 2nd in pass yds 184.9, 30th in rush yds 147.4.

And of course every time they play us it is there superbowl. I just hate every time someone says there defense it so bad we should put up a 40 burger on them.

-----I was looking at the results of the past games with them. We don't play them very often. We were last there in 2009 and beat them 28-10. We of course won a big game there in 2005 34-17 on the way to winning the championship against Seattle.

There was a game probably in 2007 we got beat there 31-28. In that game that Dumervil gave Ben a hard time. I thought he played it a little too much on one play he sort of body slammed Ben. I thought it was very unnecessary but no penalty was called IIRC.

The last thing I heard about him was he was injured and missed a lot of playing time.

I don't know how effective he is now but I think our players should be reminded of that incident and deal with this guy accordingly.

Afraid of the Steelers offense on the road? Yes. (They play pretty well at home)

I'm not afraid of the Broncos D, but I'm certainly concerned by any defense that has good outside pass rushers.

The Browns total defense is 10th, pass defense is 2nd and rush defense is 30th, unfortunately, the Browns weakness on defense (rushing defense) is what the Steelers don't do very well. I'm not surprised that yards and points are difficult to come by against the Browns. Their problem isn't their defense; it's the offense.

                              Just sayin... :P

Oh, and for the record, I'm not afraid of Denver's defense, of course, I don't have to go and get hit by them either.
