All this talent? Are you sure?
YES ... Brown, Wallace, Sanders along with Heath and A Franchise QB and a decent / not great RB that's more weapons than the high powered patriots but yet scoring 30 pts is second nature to them.
Fans should realize by now that it takes more then talent to win in the NFL or in any sport.
Especially, when that talent doesn't execute or makes mistakes.

The Pats QB plays with more consistency then the Steelers QB. That's why they produce more points.
The Pats QB is throwing underneath crossing patterns to TE's and Welker all game, usually behind stellar protection.

And the Pats* put up 30 plus points week in & week out. Steelers barely do it 2 time a season.

Love getting a much needed W but 13 points won't cut it against the Bengals this week or San Fran in a few.

They have to find a couple of plays that get in the endzone when they have it 1st and goal at the 4 or 5. What a ridiculous struggle it is to punch it in.

True... but this was the Chiefs...

We already beat the Bengals in Cincy... and we will beat the 49ers as well. Look at the 49ers schedule and you will see they feasted on bad teams.

sir all these weapons people are referring to are really unproven potentials at the moment and today they mostly stunk.
Wallace let some guy get into his head and proceeded to drop every thing..
Brown our appointed 2nd year h.o.f guy is still running the wrong routes at times..
Sanders has not proven that he can stay healthy long enough to be honestly evaluated (by us) ..
(funny how our most consistent receiver on the field today was Hines, but none of us want to admit that)

And would people stop comparing us to the Patriots - that team is built to be a pass happy squad - they draft based on that philosophy) We on the other hand are still trying to find out who we are.
We are traditionally a ground and pound, play defense and win it in the end team. We have NEVER been a team that could blow people out on the regular. You know this because we still have a RUN blocking line that we are trying to trick into thinking they are pass blockers. (and yes I know we cant run any more but if not for Bens ability to get out of trouble with his size and legs we wouldn't be able to pass either)

We have talent yes and we have hopes but in reality that's all it is until proven otherwise..

This isnt fantasy football, these guys arent going to be the Patriots just because we wish them to be.

I totally agree with ya. We have 3 smaller quick guys out there, with Wally having ludicrous speed. But, they are not those big tall (and fast) physical guys that create constant mismatches. And as you said. They youth hurts them more then helps them right now.

Regarding the pats. They also have 2 nightmare mismatches at TE. That is what makes their offense go. Heath is a great all around guy but he's notthe downfield threat that either of those guys are

Right, and I'm saying it's the system. Their offense is quite simple. Get mismatches and exploit them until they stop it. Gronk on a LB, Welker on a safety. Game over.

Doesn't hurt that the line lets Brady stand flatfooted and survey the field for several seconds.

No easier than our schedule. They won in Cincy and Detroit when both teams were playing better than they are now. We would have gotten boat raced in Detroit in September.

49ers put up 13 on Cincy and beat Detroit on the last play...

I'm not sold on the 49ers and we will see in a few weeks if they are legit.

Really though... it doesn't matter what we put up vs a team we beat... we tend to play up or down to the opponent in front of us.

I've never bought into the "if we do this next week we'll lose" when have we ever done that? I've never seen us repeat anything we've done the week before...
