    Media On Big Ben

Listening to ESPN radio last night they were debating who were the top 3 QBs in the league now that Manning was out. Of course, it fell to Brady and Rodgers but then a debate over Big Ben vs Brees. The one host mentioned that there have been persistent stories about Ben being a slacker in film study. He supposedly even bragged that he didn't want to watch film because he felt it affected his approach to the game.

Anyone else catch this discussion? Where are these stories coming from that Ben is not a film buff? Has there been something published?

Maybe a touch of reputation blended with a whole lot of gossip. Just my speculation.

Exactly, that the media needed a victory over a very poor Patriots defense to consider Ben among the elite just proves their credibility should be and always is in question.
Some people subscribe to a permanent stasis of wishful thinking. They like to believe the world is made of marshmallows and filled with butterflies. I don't.

The media's goal is not to inform, be accurate, or even to make sense. It is to sell advertising dollars, and that is usually most effectively done by broadcasting controversy.

When that is kept in mind, all else falls into place!

P.S. It's not just the sports media that applies to!
