Was Tray Essex on the field for a play or two?

I thought I might have seen that when Gilbert went out.

Did it hurt us, that wasn't one of those wasted TOs was it?

jonathan scott is now the swing tackle. Scott did play for a few plays. This is the perfect job for scott.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

I think it says a lot that they continue to play Marcus Gilbert, injuries and all, over Essex and especially over Scott. I'm glad the rook is getting significant playing time, both because that means he has some legitimate skill and because he will be that much further along next year. We may actually be able to build an OLine that will keep Roethlisberger on his feet as he gets older here, thus extending our Super Bowl window by a good 4 or 5 years.
