IIRC, they did nothing but harass Marcia* in their Superbowl, and he performed like a poster boy for a Cialis ad.

Their offensive line is supposedly pretty good ... can our young guys occupy them enough for Timmons and Wood (and TROY!) to put Marcia on her back a lot, or at least give her happy feet?

The Steelers haven't shown the consistency so far this year to make me think they win either of the next two. The potential is there, but we don't seem to be playing up to it yet.

Can we "pull a Giants" on Brady this week ? Possible,.....however it's highly unlikely as we are (outside of Ike) still below average at corner and FS.

Once you take that into account with the facts that Timmons is in and Harrison's out, Hood's seeing playing time and the offense led by Roethlisberger will likely pull their almost usual vanishing act against any quality opponent,....well,....let's just say it may not be pretty.

He gets rid of the ball too fast for us to get to him.

Lets see if Lebeau tries the same old tactic of mostly dropping our 250 pound LB's and old MLB's into coverage to try and cover their midget speedster WR's and midget RB out of the backfield. Wonder if we will give them 10 yard cushions all game long so Brady can pick us apart.

I would be willing to take a 15 yard personal foul on the first play from scrimmage for a late hit on Brady just to get him thinking cause if Lebeau deploys the same old gameplan we will see the same old results.

Throw in the Pats having 2 weeks to prepare for us and it spells trouble.

Thats an ironic statement considering it was Timmons who got in Kolb's face at the beginning of the game to cause the interception.

There were times yesterday when Kolb had all the time in the world to throw.
Kind of reminded me of Brady till the ball left his hands.
Kolb missed badly on a lot of throwstherwise the score might have been different.

I'm going to play negative Nancy and say there's no way we beat the Patriots unless
Matt Cassell is suiting up. Brady makes our defense look pathetic and we get spanked
every time. I'll always hope we can win, but as Red says, "Let me tell you something my
friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane."

But maybe, just maybe the Halloween ghouls, goblins and spirits will guide us to a 2004 like
victory. "I hope I can make it across the border. I hope to see my friend, and shake
his hand. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams. I hope we beat the
Patriots. I hope."

If anything, even in a loss, I would at least be happy if our defense got to Brady a few
times and planted his smug face in the turf. That would give me something to cheer about.
