Receiver Mike Wallace said the Steelers will attack Tennessee's self-proclaimed bad boy, cornerback Cortland Finnegan.

"He doesn't intimidate one person around here," said Wallace, who had an 81-yard touchdown catch against the Texans last week. "If he wants to hit, we're going to hit. If he wants to be aggressive, we're going to be aggressive."

Wallace, who was flagged for taunting last week, added that aggressiveness won't be tempered by stupidity.

"We're not going to go out and be stupid and get penalties," Wallace said. "But by no means are we going to take anything from anybody. Finnegan is a dirty player. If he wants to get dirty, we can be dirty, too."

Wallace added there is a potential for big plays against the Titans' secondary, considering the Cleveland Browns had success through the air in a 31-13 loss.

    >> Cornerback Bryant McFadden is expected to make his first start since the season opener at Baltimore when he aggravated a sore hamstring. William Gay started the past three games, with Keenan Lewis as the backup. "I feel a lot more confident (than) I have in previous weeks," McFadden said. "I'm still going to be smart. I didn't have any setbacks this week. I was able to run around stretch out."

    >> LaMarr Woodley is feeling more confident this week in the Steelers' ability to stop the run even though they'll be facing one of the league's top running backs in Chris Johnson. "We have made some corrections with everybody getting to the gaps and finishing plays," Woodley said. "It's been the main focus this week. Woodley said the Steelers have picked themselves up after an emotionally draining loss to Houston. "It's too early to have one or two games define our season," he said. "We've still got an opportunity to be 14-2."

    >> With Mendenhall questionable and Moore out, running backs Isaac Redman and Jonathan Dwyer are expected to carry the load. "I'm ready to go if Rashard and Moore can't go," said Dwyer, who struggled to make the roster during training camp. "I've been preparing for everything, including short-yardage situations and passing situations. I need to do whatever they need me to do. It's a big game for me, but it's even bigger for the team."

    >> Fans attending Sunday's game will be subject to full patdowns and are encouraged to arrive early. Gates open at 11 a.m. The enhanced security procedures will require additional time for inspections.
