Leg whip prior to Big Ben knee hit?

Reading the seahawks boards last night and today. Tons of them saying the hit only occurred because their guy got leg whipped on the play. Is that true - I didn't notice ( in a bar and didn't get to slow mo rewind)?

A bunch also said lots of the O-line were doing it all day.

Those fans are a bunch of whiny b!tches. I'd rather never watch football again than have to be associated with that team.

Gilbert did throw his leg back to try to trip the defender.

He's in the room watchin film right now and they all just told him to never do that sh!t again.

He's a rook. mistakes will happen. just don't get Ben killed in the process.

Gilbert tripped him. The penalty probably should not have been called. Of course, a few plays later, Ben was hit low and nothing was called.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

I don't think it was an intended trip. Gilbert got beat and spun around, he was off balance and his leg tripped Brock.

pretty sure that trip was on purpose.

He trailed his leg behind him and was trying to hide it. he succeeded. no penalty. but there should've been one.

as soon as the first flag was thrown against the Seahags, I said here they go, the refs gave the Steelers the game, part deux.
