    Today's officiating

There were a few gaffs by the zebras, and I think Ike's PF should have been offsetting, but overall I was glad that the pussified rules didn't really show up.

I also appreciate that the refs let them play through the extra roughness, and not make a kindergarten issue out of it.

    I give the refs a B+ or A-.

They let them play. I liked the way it was called.

Well they could have called holding more on the rats like they called on us.

This is a good point to raise, and your observations are right on. Any calls that might have been marginal did not impact the game, certainly, and probably would not have influenced outcome in a close game.

A bit off-topic, but I thought Nantz and Simms were brazenly biased for the Ravens, both in content of things their words and statmements, and in their paraverbals ... excited tone at the Ravens' successes, disappointed tone in those moments when the Steelers did OK. I wish I could remember a couple of the brazen comments (esp by Simms) so I could share them here. It takes away from the game when they do this.
