Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you 1. Jesus Christ, 2.The American G.I., One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
That's at Flanker. At split end, it is as follows:
1. Mike Wallace
2. Emmanuel Sanders
3. Arnaz Battle
As for tomorrow, it looks like Cotchery is doubtful with a hamstring, so he's unlikely to play. Battle will only play on special teams unless we have another injury to the wideouts. Brown and Sanders will both be active behind starters Wallace and Ward. Both should see significant playing time against the Ravens.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
I'm sure all 4 will rotate around. My guess would be something like this maybe...
Wallace will be in on about 75% of snaps involving multiple WRs, Ward will get 55%, and Brown and Sanders each about 35%.
That would make for good seasonal reception numbers too now that I think about it...
Wallace - 75 for 1200 yds and 10 TDs
Ward - 55 for 650 and 5 TDs
Brown - 35 for 550 and 4 TDs
Sanders - 35 for 500 and 4 TDs
Cotchery - 25 for 300 and 2 TDs
Miller with 45 for 500 and 4 TDs
sprinkle in 40 catches for 400 yards and 2 TDs for RBs
Ben with 4100 yards and 31 TDs to his main targets. I would enjoy watching that season happen. (310 of 480 at 64.5%, 8.45 ypa...just to be complete on the predictions)
For me Ward would be #3, I'd go with Wallace and Brown to start the game. That's just me, Brown forces the defense to defend more grass than Ward does, IMO.

I don't disagree with you Pap, but Ward has consistently shown a knack to find holes in a secondary. And he has consistently been Ben's safety blanket when under heavy duress. I would guess we will see Ward more at the beginning of the season, but the young ones will increase PT towards the end.... this will save wear and tear on Ward as well.
