Can you tell which kid is Armpit Jr.??? And its not a Bubby Jersey. Its a customized one. He said he probably won't be able to wear #7 when he becomes a Steeler because Ben is so good. So he decided he'll take #6
Absolutely awesome! It's cool that you're spending time with Jr. I'm sure he loves playing with his Dad as much as playing football.
Thanks. There's really nothing like seeing your kid having a blast playing the sport you love the most.
Stayed away after the SB loss. Still get sick to my stomach thinking about it.
Other than work and children, that's the biggest reason why I stayed away for a while.
I've been starting to slowly ease into things with the with the preseason the last few weeks
and I should make a full recovery after the Thursday night season opener.
Before you know it, I'll be back here posting uniformed nonsense on a regular basis.
Costanza told me I had been mentioned here so I thought I'd pop in to acknowledge.
I left my job on 6/17 so I could move to Florida. I arrived here July 2nd. I live in a little town about 10 minutes from the beach on Florida's Treasure Coast and I love it! I lived the first 12 years of my life in CA and we went to the beach every weekend. It's good to be back to that. I'm not working yet (finally got all the paperwork submitted for processing today, so that should change soon) so I've had a lot of time to experience Florida. I go to the beach once or twice a week, ride my motorcycle at least 3 times a week and also do some kayaking. Kayaking Florida waters is amazing...the wildlife is incredible! So cool seeing manatees & gators up close! The manatees much closer than the gators for sure!
I've met some nice people in my short time here, and continue to meet more every day. I wish I had done this 20 years ago.
As Costanza mentioned, I'm enjoying myself on twitter. It has a whole different vibe to it. And it's much easier to filter out & block some of the ridiculousness that finds it's way onto the internet. If you've got a twitter account you're welcome to follow me & I follow back. Warning though, I go on tweet binges & sometimes tweet A LOT. Also, too much foolishness from someone and I don't hesitate to unfollow...or even block if necessary. I go by @StillersFanInFL on there. Used to be WI, but that's changed I don't filter myself on there either, so you may want to browse before you buy
I may pop in here again from time to time, but as I told Costanza, arguing some of the same things with the same people over & over again grew tiresome. And that's putting it nicely.
Anyway, thanks all for asking about me & perhaps I'll see some of you on twitter...now I have to go give Lonbull a schedule so I can be a less than also ran in his game.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
