Grades from first preseason game...

...as follows in no particular order.

A. Brown - He caught the ball great. I like his speed, and his hands. (A-)

I. Redman - He's looking great to me. I thght it was "DEEBO" running
witht the ball...He looks huge, in a good way, and has good speed. (A)

Dwyer - Showed no burst, or anything for that matter. (F)

Stevenson Sly - Was he playing...must have been invisable. (F)

M. Ivy - Was around the ball all nite. (B)

W. Gay - Is horrible. (F)

R. Mundy - Is horrible. (F)

I thght out secondary sucked, because I dont think I saw even ONE
pass break-up by any DB, and thats sad.

Didn't seem to matter what coverage they were in, there was NO coverage by our DBs.

I wouldn't give Sylvester an "F" but his performance was nowhere near what I anticipated. Nice game for the Ivy kid.

Agree with your "F" for Dwyer. I'd cut him yesterday. We can pick up a RB off the scrapheap that will at least put out some effort.

Ryan Mundy played played rather well. He led the defense with 7 tackles. His grade was far better than an 'F'

OK...I'll give him an "A-" for tackling...give him an "F" for coverage...averages out to a "C-".
