    Steeler Triva

I posted this on another board, I will do a triva every few weeks...
Try this on the honor system with no assistance.

    1) Of the 16 coaches in Steeler history, how many had a career winning % over .500 and can you name them?

    2) Who was the Steelers first 1,000 yard rusher?

    3) What was the result of the final Steeler game at Forbes Field and who did we play?

    4) Who was the first Steeler ever selected in the NFL draft?...(it was 1936 not 33)

    5) Who was scheduled to be our first regular season game at Heinz Field?

answers, drag below between the arrows.

<< <<<1.(5)sutherland,parker,noll,cowher,tomlin. 2.John H Johnson 1962 3. December 1 1963, 21-21 tie with Philly. 4. Bill Shakespeare from Notre Dame. 5. Cleveland was scheduled but because of the attacks on 9/11 week 2 was postponed and we opened Heinz against Cincy>>>>>>>>

    Re: Steeler Triva

I'll take my (somewhat) educated guesses and put them in black...

    1. I'll guess just Noll, Cowher, and Tomlin.

    2. John Henry Johnson?

    3. I have no idea whatsoever, so I won't even hazard a guess here. I would just be shooting arrows in the dark.

    4. I know this one! William Shakespeare!

    5. Cleveland Browns.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

      ******

      1. I'd guess 4 assuming it was a trick question and go with Cowher, Noll, Tomlin, and no idea who the 4th would be - Keisling?

      2. Franco

      3. The only thing I remember hearing about Forbes Field and the last game was the Pirates played the Cubs and that was the first and last game at Forbes Field. No idea about the Steelers?

      4. Bullet Bill?

      5. Had to be the Brownies or the original Browns (the Ravens). Was this cause of 9/11?
