      Essex may be doable, but, rememebr Max is guaranteed 7 million this year from somebody. Even a desperate team isn't eating the entire 7 million, so, the Steelers would be trading away experienced depth and still paying a portion of his salary (IMO). Essex is another story and that might be worth a draft pick. Again, though, even though Essex may not be in the future plans, he is good to have around this year as insurance.
