Being a fellow lurker over the past few months, I'm glad you've decided to be part of the collective. Just so you become more acclimated to your fellow posters, here are some tidbits that might help:
Chadman - suffers from multiple personalities
flippy - works as a male stripper with clown makeup offering "Happy-ending Meals"
jhansle - thinks he owns the place
Djfan - wears a lot of leather and still rocks a long Bon Jovi perm
fordfixer - really some Japanese mechanic for Toyota
MeetJoeGreene - donated DNA matter to create actor Brad Pitt
Flasteel - our board throbbing cerebrum
Costanza2k1 - an extra in Slumdog Millionaire
Oveido - quite possibly the most rabid Steeler fan of the south
hawaiiansteel - really a lockout board Troy Polamalu @ home
Shawn - picture an ER physician wearing a Jim Tressel vest
rpmpit - has biceps bigger than my thorax
Ruthlessburgher - winner of many Dan Hagerty look alike contests
Jooser - enjoys working out to Flashdance soundtrack
Papillon - Godfather of our cyber-society
AngryAsian - only here to fulfill the minority quota
I had to look up who Dan Hagerty was. Ah...Grizzly Adams...now I get it. My Dad was always told he was Grizzly Adams (my wife actually preferred Yukon Cornelius from the old Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Christmas special, but same idea pretty much), but now that he has as much hair on the top of his head as our Asian pal has, I guess that I have now taken over that mantle from him.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
like you I lurked for a long time before finally deciding to join in. we all look forward to your posts and arguing against the points you make, even if we agree with them.
First off, welcome harold. Secondly, when hawaiiansteel decided to join in we started to laugh more, but became much less informed on the Steelers.
