If you told me our first 5 picks were these..

I would have said I like it

    1)Heyward
    2)Brown
    3)Carter
    4)Gilbert
    5)Allen

Bottom line for me....I might not agree with the order...and I might have liked a couple of guys in different spots better, BUT, we have a very solid class going here.

    a lot of defense there.

would have thought more help for the offense, but its a good value draft

I like it too. Solid draft. I do foresee an offensive skill position coming up for us in the next round though. Bruce Arians is probably having a seizure in the war room about now.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

i'm not an arians hater (or lover) but like that he doesnt influence our draft much.

still wouldnt have minded something more for the offense.... i'll visit your "what would you do draft" in a little bit

I hope not for the sake of drafting a "need". Just pick BPA, late rounds. BPA. B-P-A. (Best Player Available)
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

I agree. I don't think we have a whole lot of needs at the offense skill positions this year, but have a feeling that we'll get Ben a weapon of some sort (WR, TE, RB) in the next round anyway. Perhaps someone like WR Ricardo Lockette (6'2" 211 lbs) from Greg Lloyd's old stomping grounds at Fort Valley State.
