Walter give a "Big Board" for each team for where they pick.

Picks 1-16: http://walterfootball.com/draft2011teamboards.php

Picks 17-33: http://walterfootball.com/draft2011teamboards_1.php

This is my attempt to construct a realistic 2011 NFL Draft big board for every team. I've factored in where these teams are drafting; for instance, I'm sure Patrick Peterson is No. 1 on many teams' lists, but I didn't include him from Tennessee onward because he definitely won't be available past No. 7. I also took team needs into account.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

1. Derek Sherrod, OT, Mississippi State
2. Nate Solder, OT, Colorado
3. Muhammad Wilkerson, DE/DT, Temple
4. Aaron Williams, CB/FS, Texas
5. Phil Taylor, NT, Baylor
6. Ben Ijalana, OT/G, Villanova
7. Danny Watkins, G, Baylor
8. Brooks Reed, DE/OLB, Arizona
9. Ras-I Dowling, CB, Virginia
10. Christian Ballard, DE/DT, Iowa
11. Stephen Paea, NT, Oregon State
12. Marcus Cannon, G, TCU

The Steelers would love to land one of the top linemen, but they'll probably have to settle for someone like Aaron Williams, Ben Ijalana or Danny Watkins.
He projects Sherrod to the Colts, Solder to the Bears, and Wilkerson to the Saints, and therefore suggests that we'd take Aaron Williams at #31.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Williams sems to be the emerging concensus pick. Therefore given my experience with Colbert it is almost a guarantee that he won't be the pick.
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"

Ugh, no more lazy t-sips on our team.

Hampton, yes, the rest can go back to smoke all day in Austin. I will say JScott bailed us out a bit last year, but looks like he's gone anyway since he's not really a start for our caliber of a team outside of massive injuries again. He'll start someone else.

Hahahahahahahahaha. The funny part is, that may actually be a good thing. I have no way to argue against his record i the first round. Over the last ten years I've learned to just suck it up and say, "Maybe he knows something I don't". And he usually does.

You got me Ruthless...You didn't say Taylor to the Jets. If this was the case, and the commish said, "The Pittsburgh Steelers are now on the clock."....I would be air humpin like a dog saying, "Phil Taylor, Phil Taylor" until the Steelers pick was announced. Anyway, comes down to Williams and some guy called "Ijalana". I heard that name somewhere. Glad to see I'm not the only one.
