Utah State CB Curtis Marsh To Visit Steelers

think we might be drafting a CB or two in this draft?

Utah State CB Curtis Marsh To Make Pre Draft Visit To Steelers

Utah State cornerback Curtis Marsh reportedly will make a pre-draft visit to Pittsburgh to visit the Steelers some time next week according to Draft Countdown. Marsh measured in at 6 and a half feet at the NFL combine and ran an unofficial 4.46 40 time. Marsh reportedly also has visits scheduled with the Eagles and Dolphins as well. Marsh played just two seasons at corner for the Aggies after he switched from running back to cornerback during spring of 2009. In 2010 he started all 12 games at cornerback and earned second-team all-WAC honors. He ranked second in the WAC and sixth in FBS in passes defended with 15 including 2 interceptions. Marsh also recorded 45 total tackles in 2010 as well.

    "six and a half feet"?
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

They better draft two and put Keenan Lewis and definitely Anthony Madison on the street.

Small school, good athlete, good size and speed

Switched from RB to CB in college and has only played there a couple of seasons

This is the guy I want. We better take him in round 2 because I believe he is shooting up the draft boards of a weak DB class. I would take a OL or DL in round 1 and then Marsh in round 2. I doubt he is there in round 3.
The Steelers’ went through seven consecutive drafts (2003-09) without taking an offensive lineman in the first two rounds, the longest such streak by any franchise this century.

I think Marsh in the 2nd is overkill. I think he can be had with our pick in the 3rd, but will be gone if we try to wait until the 4th.

The top tier corners are Peterson and Prince (top 10 guys)

The next tier includes Brandon Harris, Jimmy Smith, and Aaron Williams (mid-to-late 1st).

Then comes Curtis Brown, Brandon Burton, Ras-I Dowling, and Davon House (2nd).

Marsh would be in the 4th tier of corners along with guys like Jalil Brown, Rashad Carmichael, Chimdi Chekwa, Johnny Patrick, Buster Skrine, and Shareece Wright.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Well thats perfect. After we trade back we can get Cannon, Dowling, Marsh, and Jah Reid(?) in rounds 2 and 3 (in order listed)

then use rounds 4-7 for filling other holes with guys we can hope will be good.
