It would seem that some here would like to see certain members of the team fail- or at least find delight in their failings.

    Chadman finds that odd.
    Crash finds that embarrassing.
Crash has expressed undying love for one player and hatred at most of the other players, management, ownership, coaches past and present, food vendors, beer waitresses, ticket counters, security members, etc.

    Hello Pot, meet kettle.
Hey buddy....say what you want about anyone else, but once you bring those key cogs to the organization into question - the lovely beer waitresses - I must take a stand!!

I know I am late to the party here, but I have been saying on this board for the last two years that Ben is overrated. He totally screwed up super bowl XLV. Our offense has stunk for years because of his ineptitude. He scrambles around trying to buy time because he is too slow to read a defense. We win because of our defense. Plain and simple. If our defense doesn't hold the opponents under 14 points we probably lose.

You do realize that we 10-3 in the playoffs with Ben at QB, and in those 13 games, we have never scored under 20 points, right? In those 13 career playoff games with Ben at QB, we have scored 27, 20, 21, 34, 21, 31, 29, 27, 23, 35, 31, 24, and 25.

Contrast that with the offensive juggernaut Peyton Manning, who has a losing 9-10 record in the playoffs, and in those 19 games, the Colts have scored less than 20 points in 10 of those games? In those 19 career playoff games with Peyton at QB, they have scored 16, 17, 0, 14, 38, 41, 3, 49, 18, 29, 38, 15, 23, 24, 17, 17, 30, 20, and 16.

Looks like Peyton needs to have his defense to hold the opposition to a score in the teens in order for the Colts to win playoff games, not Ben.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

            but Go Steelers!!!

              Sorry about that...

I wonder how good the Steelers would be if Ben were anything more than a good high school quarterback?

They'd probably be great at running the ball like the 70s Steelers...and losing games in the NFL of the 21st Century. But it would look like Western Pa high school football so some would be thrilled.
