Why is Peyton's playoff flops ignored where Ben is castrated by Steelers "fans" for his?

Our dear friend Leper won't have an answer for that. This is what happens when people read articles instead of watching games.

Colts win because of Peyton and Steelers win because of defense. This is the only reply you are gonna get No matter what.

They don't consider the playing conditions. They don't consider the amount of money spent on Offensive players. they don't consider offense mentality. Its about Yahoo Box Score and ESPN Top 10 plays to form an opinion.
You 2 need to take your ritalin and read a little closer. If calling ben the 4th or 5th best QB is "bashing" him , than I guess so be it.

Well you called out Ben but how about calling out Peyton for his stupendous performance in 2007 SB run.

    Double Standards????
I consider everything. I've never "called out" Ben. Ever. I've actually called and argued with Shannon sharpe 3 times on his old SIRIUS show with Bob Papa about how ben is extremely underated around the league.

The bottom line is that if anyone is going to keep arguing his clutch play , which there has been many examples , we are at the point that you have to consider that he has also underperformed in the biggest game.

How can anyone remain even a little bit subjective and completely ignore that ?

How in the world is saying Ben is 4-5 slighting him? That makes no sense.

Peyton, Tom and Drew are widely regarded as a better QB than Ben.

Rodgers and Rivers are widely regarded as on par or a better QB than Ben.

The only people that put him any higher than 4 are Steelers fans.

And for the 3rd time , I never said I wanted Rogers over Ben
You said you wanted Peyton "9-10 in the playoffs" Manning over Ben.

        Why?

I don't really have an opinion of Elway either way.

No one is claiming Ben has not underperformed in the SB. If he played like what he is capable of Steelers might have won that game. Again i am saying might.

But my point is every QB that you mentioned have underperformed some way or the other. Even Brady has underperformed. Brady has not won a single playoff game in past 3 season. Now i won't rate Ben higher than Brady but to say 4th or 5th and list QB who made mistakes after mistakes ahead of him is ridiculous.

I also said it was nitpicking. I absolutely acknowledge his shortcomings in the playoffs. He was the same way at UT. He could never beat Florida.Peyton's also had much better offenseive talent than Ben. But I'm not denying our defense either.

                If anybody told me they'd take Ben , Manning , Brees , Brady , Rogers to start a team , i wouldn't argue. I don't think that's "bashing" him.

                  same thing happened this year.

after they missed on that 3rd down attempt vs. the jets they blamed the young wide receiver for running the pattern 2 yards deeper then it should have been.

i guess if ben pouted and pointed fingers at his young receivers, maybe his team's fans would give him a pass too

As i said no one consider the circumstances at all. Its just that Ben does not throw anyone under the bus. He will take all the blame. Now i am not saying he does not make mistake but to put blame on him for every loss is really something. Oh BTW no one credits him with the WIn though.

As i said Steelers win because of Defense but lose because of Ben.

                    Steelers formula for a WIN:
Offense which can take time of the clock +Suffocating Defense = Steelers WIN

I would like to add ST in their.

But I'm not denying our defense either.
                      Peyton's had defenses also.

In 4 of 7 years that Ben has been in the league the Colts have managed to rank 8th or better in points against and had a #1 and #2 ranking.

The Colts didn't win a ring in any of those four seasons.

The Jets beat the Colts and Pats in the playoffs. Did you hear the glowing remarks that Ryan had for Brady and Manning? The next week they played the Steelers. How come Rex didnt have the same adoration for Ben? He has seen Ben far more times than those two. So how come he wasnt slobbering all over Roethlisberger?

                          Not as impressed. Simple

Ben is tough, he extends the plays, hes a competitor. NOBODY disputes any of that. However, what is disputed is his MIND AND HIS ABILITY TO PROCESS INFORMATION QUICKLY AND ACCURATELY.

That is not disputed with Manning, Brady, Brees, Rivers and Rodgers.

They are KNOWN as cerebral quarterbacks and Ben is NOT. Thats why you see Ryan praising Manning and Brady's MINDS and not the PHYSICAL ABILITY

                              BIG DIFFERENCE
