Forget the fact that he is not a first rounder from a talent position. Look at the injuries to guys like Polamalu, Ed Reed and Bob Sanders. Todays Safeties take too much punishment. Yes those three are all worthy first round selections. They are game changers. However you can't justify spending a first round pick on a Safety who is far and away not on that level.

I would rather we draft West Virginia FS Robert Sands in the 3rd round than UCLA's Rahim Moore in the 1st...we have much greater needs at CB, OL and DL to address in the first two rounds than we do at safety.
