    Big Receiver?

Do we need a big receiver? Our current group are all 6' or under. Would having a 6'3" or 6'4" target had made a difference by giving Ben a bigger target?

I know it is an old argument but something to consider going into the draft.

I did read that Plaxico gets out of prison and wants to return to the NFL next year

Plax has also stated his preferred choices are Atlanta and Pittsburgh.

Not if it means taking one in the first 3 rounds of the draft. Way too many other needs that are important.

            Nice Sig too.

I would not mind bringing in Plex. But i have not given up hopes on Limas Sweed either. I am rooting for him.

I'm pulling for Sweed to. Seems like a great kid. The skills are there but he has been snakebit.

he'd be a good fit, but i don't think that the steelers will ever do anything like bring him in...a ton of variables, he's older, he'll be rusty, and who knows if he can still play at a high level?

Plax could provide a shot in the arm for the offense.

On Sunday the O was like Plex.

Kept shooting itself in the foot.

Or, he might LITERALLY provide someone on the offense with a shot in the arm...or somewhere else.

Agreed. And to be perfectly honest I like speed, quickness over size. If we draft a WR this year I think we should go a possession type tough guy like Sanzenbacher from the Buckeyes. As you know I don't toot a ton of Buckeye horns when it comes to the draft but this kid is the prototypical possession WR. He can probably be had anywhere from the 4-6th round and will be a terrific value pick.

completely agree, Sanzenbacher could be the NFL's next Wes Welker...

He isn't quite as quick as Welker but he runs really nice routes, has very good hands, and is willing to put his body on the line to make a catch. The guy comes up big when needed. With Ben throwing him the ball, I think he would have a long career as a Steeler.
