I'll post some thoughts later SASF. Still digesting stuff
I ate so much pizza, wings, breadsticks, chips, pretzels, ice cream, etc. at home during the game that I'm still digesting that stuff too.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
The amount of people in the stadium was inspiring, although it didn't seem very loud to me. I was on the third row of the end zone (section 459) and to me it seemed like I was in a blimp. I had to watch the monitor for anything on the opposite 30 yard line and beyond. I can see why Jerry wants to go with no salary cap. The amount of money that stadium produces would make the Cowboys the new Yankees. Literally. They could buy whoever they wanted. There are soooooo many corporate boxes it's unbelievable.
I hope no one was among those 400 people who could not watch the game even though they had a ticket.
I really hope those people sue NFL.
