      Controversial? More like spot on. Maybe on a Steeler board it is, but the media and fans were proven exactly right, by Ben and the D. This blemish will stick with Ben forever. And the D???? Please. Put up stats and great numbers against average QBs, and then get rocked by the great ones.

      It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust & sweat & blood...

        Unfortunately, this team lives and dies by Ben's arm. Tonight he played poorly. But, like it was just said, this team doesn't make it the SB without him.

            Actually, yeah it is sticking with those guys. Peyton had a chance to really be considered one of the greats last year. He threw a pick 6. Brady is right up there with Montana right now if he wins that Super Bowl, but guess what? He isn't. Is Warner even a QUESTION for the HOF if he is 3-0 right now in the Big Game?

            Take it how you want to take it, but Ben just went from a Hall of Famer to a good/really good quarterback.

              Whatever...he's brought us two Super Bowls & to the brink of a 3rd - without him we're a sub-.500 team. But hey, don't let me stop you from enjoying the loss.

                  I don't agree. We went 3-1 without Ben the first four games. I think we might have even been able to make the playoffs without him.

                  But...I don't think we would have made it to the Super Bowl without him. Probably would have been one-and-done in the playoffs.
