This is what I love the most about Tomlin captured in this short sentence

    "He's not a self-promoter, that's for sure,"
This is the big improvement he brought with him over Cowher. It is all about the players and team not getting shots of yourself on the sideline.
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"

Or, he'll say it's Col. Sam Trautman, and Hammons knows it's just Mike being silly. Trautman is the name of a character in one of their favorite movies, "Rambo."
I find this hillarious cause me and my best buddy that grew up together call each other at work and do the same thing saying we are Col. Trautman!

      'It's over Johnny'.....

I was so peeved when I saw Tomlin didn't receive one stinkin' vote for coach of the year. That is a crock. Tell me what other coach in the NFL had to go through the following...

-Star QB out for first four games....plus all that went on with this happening.
      -Top WR traded in offseason
-RT lost for season before season started.
-LT lost for season barely into the season.
-One of best DE in league lost for half a season.
-Best SS in the league playing at 75% half the season.
-Starting CB injured for last couple games of season.
-Keisel injured for some of season.
-Starting TE out for a game.
-Defense being crucifed by commissioner of league the entire season.
      -Star OLB threatening to retire.

We still went 12-4 and had the first round bye! And look at where we are now!
