Generally, we are a home grown club. We grow and keep our own guys. Now its impossible to have 53 guys from the draft. And most of our FAs come cheap, stay long and progress in our program. Very few hired guns.
Flozell and JScott to help with our decimated T position.
Leftwich to help the Ben and Dixon problems.
Battle to help ease the loss of Holmes while we train some rookies.
And Allen to help with potential lingering Troy injuries.
The rest came cheap and stayed.
Its amazing that we drafted the rest AND we win. Many teams draft and keep them to avoid dealing with FA, but they don't win.
Just thinking about how amazing we are in the draft compared to others. Not always prefect and have some players that weren't as good as players that went after them, but in general NO complaints.
