    Steelers Hall of Famers

I never thought about this until Derrick Brooks mentioned it, but there are more offensive players from the 70s in the HOF than defensive players.

Considering the first thing most of us think of is the Steel Curtain, this is odd. More defensive players deserve to be in.

Here's the list from the dynasty. 5 on offense and 4 on defense. That just strikes me as odd. More defenders should be in.

    Offense:
    Terry
    Franco
    Lynn
    John S
    Webby

    Defense:
    Mel
    Greene
    Ham
    Lambert

      On Defense-
Greenwood & Shell should get more consideration. LC made it to several final ballots (iirc) and Shell has received even less.

This is related to the standard bias towards offense.

I feel like it's so much easier to zero in on ONE offensive player vs one defensive player. The exception being the OL. Webby was a huuuuge fan favorite, and really highly respected in the league.
