I loved on the one long Mendy run to the right, Heath took Harris for like a 10 yard ride. There was nothing that guy could do but just enjoy the ride. It was freakin hilarious.

I'm not smart enough to figure this out, but I'd love to know what the Jets did in the second half to completely dominate the Steeler running game. I know they had to change something, but whatever it was sure did work.

Looked like the Jets played run all the way and their DB's were all over the WR's....

Ben's INT really made the Jets look better than they were though... if Ben makes that pass I think the Jets fold.

I think part of it was they just started tackling better. I'm sure there is more to it than that, but Mendy had so many yards after contact...

Well pap, what the hell took them til halftime to figure out?
We were up 24, that's why they figured it out. We rolled out in the second half just to wind the clock down. And essentially it worked. The safety add a scary element, but we essentially ate clock for 2 quarters.

We made zero attempt to pass the ball in the second half. At least there was a threat of passing in the first. They stacked the box and took the run away in half two.

Pap, I did hear on Movin the Chains that the Jets switched to a 46 defense to stop the run coming out in the second half. So they definitely sold out on it.

Totally agree with this. Ben hits him in stride (and he was open for a bit) and the Steelers score then the game is over. That completely deflates the jets.

yes, jason taylor played..............his last game.

No secrets about the second half. We were committed to the run and killing clock, they sold out on stopping the run with 8 in the box. We put the game in the hands of our defense. simple as that. When they let the jets get back within one score, we turned the offense back on. I don't think it's anything the jets did special. we were simply one-dimensional and predictable for 27 minutes of the second half. On 3rd and 7 though with 2 minutes to go - Ryan thought it was a QB draw and had his defense set up for that.

He chose poorly...........

The biggest thing they did was hurt Pouncey. Even Bronco said he made some bad line calls. I don't think we realize how much the team depends on Pouncey. I wasn't a big proponent of selecting him but he sure has proven me wrong. Colbert was more than money on that pick.

Sanders was wide open heading into the corner but for some reason Ben threw the pass to the other side of him. I think the cold had a big effect on the QB play in both games. Ben was not as accurate on some passes that he normally hits in his sleep with that pick being one of them.

only time i noticed him and loud mouth, over rated scott was when their low class azzes tied jumping over the OL on our victory formation (scott) and last play (taylor) giving a sort of punch to scott on the last play of the game after the two got into it following scott's cheapness
