    I Like the Win

But I don't like the way it came.

    Anyway, go Steelers.

Don't worry about the style points; the Steelers don't ever win with high style points, they just win.

I'll take the win, too! But it sure would be nice to see an entire 60-minutes where we played well in all phases....

It seems to me that losing Pouncey hurt a lot of things including Offensive exchanges on more than one occasion. Legursky did fine in a pinch, but I'm thinking we would have had more sustained drives and possibly more points in the second half if Pouncey hadn't been injured.

We have two weeks to fix this, and both men involved have a lot of "want to". This won't be a problem.

                  Re: I Like the Win

in the NFL, pretty wins don't come often.

The Packers won in the same fashion against a 3rd string QB.

Rodgers had 2 ints that were worse than Ben's and guess what. they won't run for more than 60 yards against us.

Only one of those picks was on Ben. The one on the long pass was a bit fugly. I hate the fact that we laid a goose egg in the second half, but hey, I am spoiled. We won. We are in the SB again!!! Friggin' AWESOME BABY!!!

                        Re: I Like the Win

It's almost as if the first half is completely irrelevant to outcomes of games.

You just need to tune in to the last several minutes of any big Steeler game.

Last week, down by 2 TD's at the half, we clinch it in the last minute with a clutch 3rd down pass to 6th round rookie draft pick Antonio Brown.

This week, up by 3 TD's at the half, we clinch it in the last minute with a clutch 3rd down pass to 6th round rookie draft pick Antonio Brown.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
