Major league non call on Ben's fumble - H2H

Look at any replay - hard enough to bend Ben's neck.

Haven't you been watching football this season? If it's done to Ben, it's a no-call.

Agreed, but you think it was bad this week? If they play Brady next week, it's gonna be even worse. He'll get a flag, if we barely we touch his helmet.

I'll get flamed for this. It was the correct (non) call. Ben's hand was moving backward when Suggs contacted it.

So you're saying it's okay to hit the quarterback in the head if his hand is in the backward motion?? Honestly?? Because I didn't realize that (not being sarcastic either)

I was paying attention to the hand. If there was contact on the head it wasn't much and it was incidental. Maybe I'm wrong.

Anyone have a youtube video? Sometimes these things make it out there quick.

Just saw a replay on ESPNews. Yes, Suggs did contact Ben's helmet. However it wasn't a jarring slap and the intent was on the ball.

"Incidental ..." ... "Just making a play for the ball ...".

You think if that was Brady there wouldn't be a flag?

I hear you. But, technically "would" is not a valid argumentation technique since it calls for judgment/opinion. :P

Re: Major league non call on Ben's fumble - H2H

Troy Aikman todays Packers vs Falcons game:

Anytime you get near the helmet you will get a Personal Foul call...

I think most of us agree that brushing the helmet seems BS...I think what we are saying is the officials need to be consistent.

If you are going to call it...you call it for everyone.

                    Or no one.

If it were on Brady it would look like a pride parade of yellow flags.

The non-call that killed me was the one before the Ben fumble. How in the world is Terrell Suggs alowed to, one, hit Ben after he releases the ball, and two, hit him below the waist?? I thought they had a rule for that? That was a major roughing the passer, illegal hit to a QB below the waist.

I have to look at the replay, some folks on the chat were pretty sure it was a hit above the waist initially ... though since he clearly hit the knees, I'm not sure how that would matter, come to think of it.

And of course if it was late, that is just more of a travesty.

Just saw it on the NFL Network. Clearly H2H. No way around it. But it is on Ben. So it does not count.
