The Steelers are really in their heads

Can they handle another loss to Ben and the Steelers?

The quotes underneath are HILARIOUS!! Looks like Steeler fans took over that board. I recommend going to the link and reading. Here's one I like:

"yah hes got 1 finger sticking up 4 the only SB the Ravens have & hey r those handcuffs on his wrst????"
And then some Steeler fan went and did this with the pic!!

PFT article on it:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/12/terrell-suggs-has-a-message-for-the-city-of-pittsburgh/

The thing is, if we had a shirt that said "Hey Baltimore" then had a mascot holding up one finger for every one of our SB rings, it'd look WAAAY different

funniest message on that thread was two from the top when I read it . . .

"Did you murder someone too?"

Almost lost my pepsi on the keyboard when I read that.

Silverback gonna go ape on the Ratbirds!

Seriously though, from listening to Balts rhetoric, I think they are building this game up too much. Theyre calling it Armageddon! Tomlin has his crew under control.

Re: The Steelers are really in their heads

I'll tell ya something. The Ravens will come out stomping, ranting, running around, jumping around pumped up like mad men. If the Steelers can come out and punch em in the mouth right from the start...game is over before it starts. The psychological aspects of this game are way underrated. A team too pumped up, manic...will go depressive quick if you can control yourselves and move the ball for 7 first series. It's demoralizing. And their heads will quickly go to...oh no not again.
Trolls are people too.

Win the toss, kick the ball, force a three and out and then hit them for 7. I don't care if it is a quick strike or a long drive (preferably), just do it!

Suggs dons controversial T-shirt, doesn't mind backlash from Steelers fans
So clueless in Baltimore. Speaking for myself at least, I LOVE the fact that they are doing this. Just like JAR said - this gives a huge insight into their mindset ... I think Coach Tomlin is probably telling the Men of Steel something like - "See ... they are scared and insecure and need to yell about how good they are, how they're gonna crush us ... their coach even said he was glad they broke Ben's nose. Now, you all keep your traps shut, every time you tackle in practice this week or do a mental rep of a play remember what they're saying. Let's do our talking on the field..."

I think it's awesome that not ONE word has come out of our locker room to answer those fools over there - go Coach!

If Terrell Suggs didn’t think he would be a target of Pittsburgh Steelers fans at Heinz Field in Saturday’s AFC Divisional playoff game, he just blew his cover.

The outspoken, fun-loving outside linebacker displayed a T-shirt expressing his feelings about the Steelers, and it could be a bit controversial.

The black T-shirt read “Hey Pittsburgh” at the top with a giant purple Raven offering a one-fingered salute. But Suggs said he’s not trying to fan the flames of a rivalry that is already considered one of the most intense in the NFL.

“No, there ain’t no message,” he said after Wednesday’s practice. “Like I said, I put on for my city. They rep their city, and I’m repping mine. So here we go.”

This isn’t the first time Suggs has used fashion to make a statement. In training camp before the 2009 season, he wore black t-shirt with the letters “YBYSA” on the front and the saying “You Bet Your Sweet [expletive] I hate the Steelers” on the back.

Suggs said he’s not concerned about receiving a backlash from Pittsburgh fans over the shirt.

“Do I seem worried?

This game is going to be what it is regardless,” he said. “It’s a physical dogfight, so I ain’t expecting nothing different. And this is the shirt I wore this morning. This is just the shirt I chose.”

A little later, on the topic of getting verbally pelted by Steelers fans, Suggs said, “I don’t care. I don’t play for them. I think they hate all of us just the same. If I get a little bit more, hey, that’s good.”

Still, after joking that he didn’t love Pittsburgh, Suggs said he has a neutral view of the Ravens’ fiercest rivals.

“I don’t have any more animosity, any more beef with any one team in the NFL,” he said. “It’s just a rivalry game, a championship game, and let’s go.”

Suggs almost didn’t make it to the makeshift podium inside the team’s training facility in Owings Mills as inside linebacker Ray Lewis grabbed him in a bear-hug and tried to persuade him to change his shirt.

Suggs was followed by tight end Todd Heap, who played with the linebacker at Arizona State. Heap spotted the T-shirt, turned to the microphone, and deadpanned, “That’s my ASU buddy. Sometimes we claim him.”

They may be trying to lure Harrison into doing something stupid. Wasn't it during the last Ratbird game that someone pushed Deebo while he was lined up defending an extra point trying to get him to retaliate?
