    Last 2 games

We have a real weapon in Sanders. I believe that we need to feature this kid in the last 2 games in order to win in the playoffs. He is capeable. I say this because there were plenty of plays in the Jets game that the kid was interfered with that werent called because as of right now he is a nobody in the eyes of the league (refs).

He is a good open field runner with good speed and great hands... He is quick off the line and pretty fearless over the middle. This will help his confidence when the real lights turn on. Defenses will have to acknowledge him which could result in things opening up for Ward.

Please feature the kid a little bit more.. force other teams to respect him. Get him ready for the playoffs.. Without big time production from that spot we wont last. Ward can be taken away and Wallace is seeing the bracket. And our 2 tightend Set has been a joke this year.

Our offense needs a real playmaker (outside of the qb spot) and he has to be it.

Not so sure on that. I don't like having to rely on rookies making the big catches. (even though Wallace had a big one last year against GB)

I'd rather rely on the veterans in Ward and ARE to make the big plays. However, they are all in the NFL now, so even Spaeth should be catching these passes thrown his way. If they can't, they shouldn't accept their paychecks.

Actually, to make Sanders more productive I believe they need to target Wallace more and insist that defenses do something to ensure that he doesn't kill them. Then Sanders will get more looks, since it seems he's able to get open. The rooks are looking good and I have absolutely no problem with Ben going to them in critical situations if they're open.

Nah, I think we should throw the ball more to Spaeth, especially with the game on the line.

I actually thrilled we have rookies that can make those catches because Hines is toast. They showed him running a pattern during a replay yesterday and he looked to be running in slow motion. he is still smart enough to find a spot in the defense and make a great catch but he is done as a game changer. I'm glad we have Wallace, Sanders and Brown starting to step it up because we will need them in the play offs.

I just wish we could get a rookie on the defense to actually contribute something to improve us on that side of the ball

Randle El is not longer explosive. Having Hines and Randle El as 2 of the 3 WR on the field is not a good thing. Too slow. I want Sanders running those slants Holmes used to run all the time.

i agree. ARE is useless these days. it doesnt make any sense having him on the field with players like sanders and brown on the sideline. im glad they threw more to wallace yesterday. wallace should never get any less than 10 targets a game. the steelers will have an impressive group of wr's for many years to come. how will opposing cb's match up in the future with wallace, sanders and brown? i dont recall a team having 3 wr's as fast as sanders wallace and brown

we also need to use brown more. defenses have figured out that we mostly through him bubble screens. he is very effective on drags and is fearless over the middle. he is also faster than sanders and can take the slant or drag all the way.

actually, a great way to get wallace deep would be to fake the bubble screen, have wallace make an initial move as to block and then to break past the corner and see if the safety can catch him.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

                    Re: Last 2 games

I agree that Wallace, Sanders and Brown are 3 dynamic playmakers with great speed and a ton of talent. What would be great would be if the Steelers would use these 3 assets in the correct manner. All 3 would be phenomenal if thrown a 5 yard crossing pattern. Get the ball in your playmakers hands and let them make a play. Of course, it would help to hit speedy, shifty receivers "in stride" so they can be most effective.

But, for some reason (Ben or Bruce), our entire offense is set up for WR's to go out 15 - 30 yards and sit down and wait for Ben to find them. Ever notice how seldom one of our receivers catches the ball in stride? It's difficult for our receivers to produce YAC when they're standing still when the balls thrown to them.

I would think this would be common sense. Right now, we're wasting the talent of 3 receivers that can burn.

I'm hoping he can keep his positive attitude and that the Steelers give him a shot in camp to make the team. He has all the skills, unfortunately, he had a dose of bad luck this year.
