Belicheat and company will do what it takes to win, even by the rules. They play a safe short passing game. They love the crossing routs and backs out of the back field. They game plan vs. the team they are playing and look for a weakness and take advantage of those weaknesses.
Most teams in the NFL just run their stuff and think it should work not matter what. That is the Steelers included. If a play does not work they have the mentality that...well just run it better. Belicheat will not try to run the ball on a run stopping team. And when he does run the ball it will be from formation that look like pass or in passing situations. They also won't run at a team’s strength. They will look to run at where the team is weakest. Why run into reinforced steel when the plywood door is a better option.
They will attack a weakness until it is dead and then they will attack it some more. If Gay is a weak link they will attack him all day long. The more you attack the weak point the better chance you have at beating it. Why attack the best player when you can attack that weak one over there. And just when you start trying to help the weak point they see it and go the opposite way, Only making you look even worse.
Belicheat is no genius, he just uses common sense. Something more coaches need to start using. Stop letting egos get in the way. Belicheat has a huge ego but his is just made of common sense.
