    2005 YDS/GM 321.8 (16TH) PASS 182.9 (24TH) RUSH 138.9 (5TH)
    2006 YDS/GM 357.8 (7TH) PASS 233.3 (9TH) RUSH 124.5 (10TH)

The higher rankings across the board were during season we missed the playoffs.

I don't think production is the best way to measure success.

One thing that seems to stand out is the rush rankings... in 2005 we were 5th and the Seahags were 3rd and we met in the SB..

2006 the Colts won and it was due to Peyton finally handing the ball off and the their D stepping up.

2007 the Giants ran their way to a SB. I know the pass won the game but they were a run first team.

2008 we bucked the trend and won with no running game and an awesome D.

2009 the Saints were a balanced team.

We need to run the ball much better... we need a better OL if we are going to win a SB or have playoff success.

How about offensive rank in a category that counts:

      Total TD scoring:

      2005: 9th - 45 TDs (21 rush, 21 pass)
      2006: 10th - 42 TDs (16 rush, 23 pass)
      2007: 10th - 46 TDs (9 rush, 34 pass)
      2008: 21st - 38 TDs (16 rush, 19 pass)
      2009: 14th - 41 TDs (10 rush, 28 pass)

      2010: 16th - 31 TDs (10 rush, 17 pass)

We are on pace for one of our poorest outputs in the last 5 yrs.

looks like TD's are down across the board... 16th with 31? Seems like we should be lower given our last 31 possessions.

Pass & Total could be a little off because of BB 4 games. Like that the Run is improved. Unfortunately, it is in a downhill tumble with Starks being out and BA head scratching.

We also have the worst OL (both starting OTs with season ending injuries) we have had in any of those years. No coincidence.
