Dang, how long can Ben and Troy hold it together?

I swear, it seems like they are being held together by duct tape and baling wire.

I missed the game yesterday, working - was Ben limping from a NEW foot injury?

    Thanks -

Tweaked an ankle after another late hit which wasn't called.

    He says he's fine.

That was a cheap play by Bungholes D...Way too many late hits by their D and no calls..

I think NFL will send an apology letter to Steelers.

In the end their was a fight because of that...Bungholes going after Steelers players on last play of the 23-7 game...

Lets see, there was the hit to the head and dangerously close to his already broken nose, that wasn't called. The ankle hit, which was late. At least 2-3 more hits that were late, one of which I think it was #31 that took 3 steps after the ball was released, hit Ben and again no call. I was fuming yesterday.......I HATE GOODELL and the REFS!

haaa, haaa, haaa...yeah, an apology like "sorry, but the guy was just trying to tackle your QB, stuff happens".

I am not a conspiracy guy, but my guess is that the league would like nothing better than for the Steelers to miss the playoffs this year, or at least have Ben miss due to injury. Make no mistake, Ben is playing on all guts right now. A lesser QB would have sat for the last two games.

Analyst Both Concerned, Impressed By Steelers Win

                  December 13, 2010 12:04 PM

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Pittsburgh Post-Gazette beat writer and Steelers insider Ed Bouchette joined the Fan Morning Show in his weekly spot to recap the Steelers’ win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Bouchette says he has some concerns about the Steelers’ offense.

He doesn’t like their running game and the play of their offensive line. If both of those areas don’t improve by the time the playoffs start, Bouchette says he doesn’t think the Steelers will make a deep run.

Bouchette remains impressed by the passing game of Ben Roethlisberger even with the play of the running game and concerns over the offensive line.

According to one of Bouchette’s sources, coach Mike Tomlin was very irritated after the win. He didn’t know why, but speculates that it could have been the lack of calls going Roethlisberger’s way, a fight after the game or all of the holding penalties.

Bouchette said the team needed a lift after “sleep-walking” through the first part of the game, and Troy Polamalu provided that play.

Bouchette said he would vote for Polamalu as defensive MVP, if he still had his AP vote.
He thinks the team will follow their routine of holding Polamalu out of practice this week.
He also tells the Fan Morning Show that one of Polamalu’s teammates told the Post-Gazette’s Ron Cook that his Achilles’ injury is really a calf injury.

Finally, Bouchette said that Tomlin and the Steelers are trying to take advantage of Mike Wallace’s speed by changing up the play calling.
