Me personally??? I believe this team has the personel to be better...however..because of this idiotic, persistant idea of having to be a running football team first...it is keeping this offense from reaching it's full potential. It is what allows a mediorce team like Buffalo to come back from a 13-0 deficet.

One day..probably when it's too late...Ben Roethlisberger will be given full control of his offense and it will be geared around him...and not some archaic idea of what the Steelers offense should be.
When you play the team with the worst run defense in the league (the Bills), you run the ball down their throats (we ran for 206 yards today).

If we played the team with the worst pass defense in the league (the Texans), and we ran the ball 45 times, then I'd complain.
206 yards?? It took nearly 5 quarters to do so? And it netted 1 TD all game. It allowed a team to come back when instead of trying to put a team away they were insistent on running the ball.

Ok let's see how this works next week.[/quote:3cjnvnm3]

If we run the ball 45 times against Baltimore, then I'll be right there with you. But I have no problem with running 45 times against Buffalo. People whine all the time about Arians not attacking other teams' weaknesses. Well guess what...Buffalo's biggest weakness is its run defense. And we ran against them. And people still whine about it anyway. Go figure.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

WVU fans were whining about Bill Stewart after the Mountaineers won the Backyard Brawl by 25.

Some people just need to chill. Not every game will be a blowout win.

At least I can say "you people are nuts" to the whiners after all my teams won this weekend.

After seeing this same team, down by 21 points last week, come back to win by 18, I knew that we would regret going into halftime only up 13 after dominating them early.

This is the NFL boys and the difference between 2-8 and 8-2 is minuscule.

We won against a team that is hitting its stride. They may be 2-9, but they have been playing very well the last few weeks and could very well be 5-4 or better if they knew how to close out games.

The Steelers were coming off a win that was maybe a little too easy, and every week have to play both the opposing team and the officiating crew.

And it goes without saying that any NFL team can beat any other NFL team any week because the talent differential is so small.

They are 8-3 with a chance to take sole possession of first place in the AFCN next week. What more do you want, bitches?

mannnnnnnnn oh mannnnnnn - Buffalo is a Crap team? Has anybody every looked at their freaking schedule? really? first 8 games - absolutely BRUTAL - All but 1 (division Rival though) are playoff teams THIS YEAR. They put a 30 spot up on the Ravens in Baltimore and The Pats, losing both Games by 1 score.

This was not a Crap team, they play every Game hard.. they were actually on a roll, having finally put some of the pieces together.
we played with a busted up Line and a peg legged Qb at their place and we escaped with a Victory... Give me a break.

                          yes

                          we have an average offense.
                          starts with the average OL.

I think the patchwork O-line is a problem. When you don't have your two starting OT its tough no matter what.

Also our WRs are young so chemistry between QB and WR is still work in progress which is a huge factor.
