This game is huge!! We will all find out if this team will respond or will crumble like last year! I'm very interested to see how the team responds to the first real adversity of the year. They had their heads handed to them last week in front of the entire country and they need to show that they are the elite bunch that we all think they are. The Raiders are a decent team but there is no way they should come into the Burgh with Jason Campbell and even compete with the Steelers.

On a side note....if the playoffs started today the Steelers would be playing their first game in Oakland.....Interesting, Very Interesting!!!

This game is big for many reasons, but IMO this is the most important....

Any team can face adversity such as losing an embarassing game. The true show of character is how you respond in the face of that adversity. Last year's team showed that it did not have the character to succeed and we missed the playoffs.

This week we face an up and coming but beatable team, but we should be well within our ability to win. Three weeks ago everyone was afraid of New Orleans as they were coming off humiliation. Last week many were afraid after New England was coming off the same result to the same team. Are losses to Cleveland the only thing to power up a team? Why should teams not fear coming to Pittsburgh after they get beaten down? After last year I would think that the fear factor is not there. Let us restore it this week.

It is big for this team's confidence. But, it is just another AFC game in the standings. Beating Cinci, CLE, and Balt are the big games. If we beat them all, we'll get 2 more wins (Car and Buf) and finish 11-5 and make the playoffs with a great shot at the division as well.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

For first time all season, all Raiders practice

Posted by Mike Florio on November 19, 2010, 2:37 PM EST

The Oakland Raiders emerge from their bye week healthier than they’ve been all season.

According to Jerry McDonald of InsideBayArea.com, all 53 members of the roster practiced on Friday, for the first time all season. That includes receiver Chaz Schilens, who has missed every game with a knee injury.

Per McDonald, Schilens won’t play against the Steelers on Sunday, and he likely won’t play next weekend when the Dolphins come to town.

Practicing on a limited basis were tight end Zach Miller (arch), cornerback Nnamdi Asomougha (ankle), and defensive tackle John Henderson (stress fracture). The Raiders need Asomugha, who could help neutralize speedy Steelers wideout Mike Wallace.

The 5-4 Raiders face the 6-3 Steelers on Sunday. If the Raiders win, the Steelers could be in grave danger (is there another kind?) of missing the playoffs for the second straight season.

Rosenthal thinks the Raiders will lose. I don’t.
