    Sanders

    Woodson
    INT’s—71 INT’s for TD—12 FF-20 Fumble recoveries—32 Sacks—13.5 Tackles---1050

Roger Staubach ahead of Terry Bradshaw? Unbelievable.
Man I used to have some *serious* arguments in college as to why Woodson was the more complete corner than Sanders.

You guys are clearly letting your homerism play too much here:

-Joe Greene's ranking of #13 among thousands who have played the game is essentially the top of the top 1%. The order is all subjective.
-Deion vs. Rod: hey look, I'm a Steeler fan too, and I take Rod over Deion for the same reasons you all do. But Deion was the best cover corner I ever saw. And if Rod was #2 (which I'm not even gonna say definitively), he wasn't really close (as a man-to-man over guy). Deion was way better as a return man too. So you can see how some people would take Deion over Rod. It's not like taking Terry McDaniel or Eric Allen over Rod.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Sanders was the best cover corner. Woodson was the best *complete* corner.

          Top Ten

          1. Jerry Rice
          2. Jim Brown
          3. Lawrence Taylor
          4. Joe Montana
          5. Walter Payton
          6. Johnny Unitas
          7. Reggie White
          8. Peyton Manning
          9. Don Hutson
          10. Dick Butkus

No Steelers. But aren't there two from the Mon Valley (Unitas, Montana)?

They say they made a mistake - Troy Polamalu might should be on their list.

And they said the '78 Steelers were the best team ever!!

Now they're going to do the Top 100 starting defensive lineups.

            What fun!

              Hooray, I love this show.

Finally mentioned the 78 Steelers were the greatest of all time- at least they got that right!

As for Marsha at #21? yea right.

Who here REALLY didn't see Marsha and Peyton getting the most love possible? Really?!?!

This is the NFLN folks. The biggest herd of sheep on TV.

For the record, Ben wouldn't make the top 200,000 players list.

While I could give 2 sh!ts about the list I think Peyton is the definition of the prototypical NFL QB. He may blow come crunch time but his numbers are crazy and he turned a complete joke of a team into a 12 win team every year.

If he gets one more ring he will probably go down as the best QB in NFL history.

He isn't the QB I would take if I needed to win one game... but if I needed to build a franchise from the ground up he would be my QB.

And covering is the only aspect of playing corner in the NFL?

When you think of all the things Woodson was asked to do and Sanders wasn’t, then look at the fact that Woodson’s cover stats (Interceptions), dwarf Sanders', you should be able to get a clear picture of who was the better corner.

Think about this….how often was Woodson asked to be out of position? Fake blitz, in between the slot, press coverage, inside shade to support the run, etc., etc.? Then having to get back in position to cover?? This isn’t something Deion had to do all that often.

Rod Woodson was voted to the 75th anniversary All-Time NFL team. VOTED, not appointed by media echo machines. VOTED. Deon Sanders didn't even get a look for that team.

                          That's enough for me.

Thank you. Woodson is the best CB of all time. And most of his career he had to play CB when his natural position was really S. Deion was a wuss.

Woodson, Blount, and Night Train Lane are all better corners than Meion.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
