I think the Wisniewski kid who also is currently playing center will make a better guard in the NFL. He's a beast with bloodlines.

Wisniewski's lack of size makes me worried. He has excellent hands and technique but I think he is a little small. Ryan Kalil type.

One of your guards needs to be able to pull and get out in front. And at 306 he's plenty big enough.

I just can't imagine us leaving the first two rounds without a NT. Having said that, I believe someone like Jerrell Powe will still be there at 2:32. So I would guess OL or CB in round one.
If they choose, the Steelers can wait a year before drafting Casey's replacement. Casey still has two years left on his deal. Hoke is a free agent after this season (I think), but I would imagine he could be easily resigned for another year. The Steelers need to draft a replacement going into the last year of Hampton's deal, but they can wait until then if there are other people they like more this year.

              At guard I would take

              1-Pouncey
              2-Rodney Hudson
              3-Ricky Henry

              all over Wisniewski

Everyone says Mike Pouncey is a great OG. Question is why was he moved to Center?

OG has got more value than Center in draft/NFL. Why would Pouncey agree to play OC. Also its not like he is playing lights out at Center position.
                Steelers Draft 2015
Rd 1: Devante Parker - WR/ Kevin Johnson - CB
                Rd 2: Danielle Hunter -OLB
Rd 3: Steven Nelson - CB
                Rd 4: Derron Smith - S
Rd 5: Henry Anderson - DE
Rd 6: Wes Saxton - TE
Rd 7: Deon Simon - DT

Because they had a need and he believed he could do so at a high level. It was rumored that he was trying to increase his draft value by showing versatility. That has backfired. But, like Birt said...he is worth the pick at 32.

There are two issues to consider. (1) Hampton is wearing down physically. It is very possible that he follows the road of Farrior, where he can't compete with the speed of the game. I know part of his job is simply to anchor but part of his job is penetrate on passing plays and move laterally in quick bursts on run plays. It would help him a lot to split snaps next year with a quick young NT. (2) Even though he's under contract for two more years the guaranteed amount is not much. We could cut/release him and save money to re-sign others. It may not seem like a lot but it could be the difference in keeping Ike or even Woodley.

that and our back up center is worthless. sure a OG has more value in the draft, but if he succeeded at C also, his draft stock would have been through the roof
