              These are great!

Mods - what do you think about grouping these together and bookmarking them? ... it would be a shame to have them slide down into oblivion!

              Thanks -

Has anyone read Pat Kirwin's book "Take Your Eye Off the Ball: How to Watch Football by Knowing Where to Look" yet? I hear good things about it from Brandon in Missouri (the Commish who calls into Sirius NFL Radio often...he's now sending me NFL update texts to my phone several times per day).

I haven't read it myself, but I may buy it in the near future. Kirwin and Tim Ryan's "Moving the Chains" show is one of the more informative NFL shows out there (they were really my first introduction to understanding much of the terminology used in these NY Times articles...A gap, B gap, C gap, 3-technique vs. 5-technique, etc.).

It's refreshing when most of the mainstream football media is more focused on stupid crap like the Favre pseudo-retirement than actually attempting to teach you about the intricacies of the game.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
